Detroit, Mich. (April 13, 2023) – LoVasco Consulting Group (“LoVasco”) has announced the acquisition of Requisite Communications (“Requisite”), effective April 1, 2023. The strategic alignment of these two companies will strengthen their collective offerings and provide clients with a broader range of services.

LoVasco, founded in 2013, is a full-service consulting firm that provides total rewards strategy and support, including employee benefits, executive benefits, retirement, and compensation consulting. The acquisition of Requisite, an employee communication and engagement consulting firm, allows LoVasco to expand its service offering and deliver compelling employee communications solutions.

"We are very excited to welcome the Requisite Communications team to LoVasco Consulting Group,” said Gene LoVasco, president of LoVasco. “Our acquisition of the firm, founded by Catherine Smith, represents a significant step forward in our overall strategy to provide our clients with a comprehensive suite of total rewards consulting services. Our partnership with Catherine’s firm dates back to 2016; joining forces with her was a natural evolution.”

Requisite Communications, founded in 2001, specializes in helping organizations meet their business, human capital, and total rewards goals through well-conceived and executed communication strategies. Requisite’s expertise will now be integrated into LoVasco's services, allowing them to provide more customized and targeted messaging to employees.

“We are thrilled to be joining LoVasco," said Catherine Smith, founder of Requisite Communications. "This is an excellent opportunity to take our collaboration to the next level and offer clients a broader and more holistic array of advising, support, and resources."
